Enrolments

Aspley East State School is an independent, co-educational primary school for Prep to Year 6 students, Aspley East is the local hidden gem for your child’s education. We are a vibrant home away from home for our students, committed to providing a supportive and challenging environment.

We are currently an enrolment managed school. Please check this map to find out if you are in or out of catchment (http://www.qgso.qld.gov.au/maps/edmap/). If you wish to enrol for our Prep year in 2020, please see the information below. For all other year levels, if you are in catchment, please download the Enrolment Package to commence the enrolment process and contact us to inform us of your intention to enrol.

To determine when your child can commence their prep year, view the prep enrolments table.

Aspley East State School is currently at enrolment capacity for 2019 and is unable to take any out of catchment enrolments.

Enrolment Process for Prep 2020

In catchment

Prep 2020 (i.e. children born 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015) who reside in the Aspley East Catchment area (http://www.qgso.qld.gov.au/maps/edmap/), enrolments are currently being accepted through the school office. Please collect enrolment paperwork from the office, complete and return. The office will then contact you towards the middle of the year to arrange your child’s enrolment interview.

Out of catchment
Out of catchment enrolments must complete an expression of interest form (not an enrolment application form). These are taken on a first in, first served basis, and placement offers occur after we have completed a first round of in catchment enrolment interviews. Once you receive and accept a placement offer we consider that, unless you tell us otherwise, your child will be attending Prep at Aspley East State School in 2020.

Out of catchment expression of interest paperwork will be available from the school office.

We recommend that if you have not been to our school before that you attend one of the open days however, it is not a mandatory part of the enrolment process.
