Aspley
East State School is an independent,
co-educational primary school for Prep to Year 6 students,
Aspley East is the local hidden gem for your child’s education. We are a
vibrant home away from home for our students, committed to providing a
supportive environment and transitions for all students across Prep to Year Six. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and weclcome all families from various cultural backgrounds. We offer strong explicit teaching across all classrooms through the delivery of the Australian Curriculum and aim to provide challenging and Age Appropriate Pedagogies, supporting all Aspley East Learners to succeed.
We are currently an enrolment managed school. Please check this map to find out if you are in or out of our catchment (http://www.qgso.qld.gov.au/maps/edmap/). If you wish to enrol for our Prep year in 2026, please see the information below. For all other year levels, if you are in catchment, please download the Enrolment Application to commence the enrolment process and contact us to inform us of your intention to enrol.

Enrolment Process for Prep 2026
In catchment
Enrolment for Prep 2026 (i.e. children born 1 July 2020 to
30 June 2021) who reside in the Aspley East Catchment area (http://www.qgso.qld.gov.au/maps/edmap) are currently being accepted through the school office.
If you are in catchment and are intending to enrol your child/ren for 2026, we strongly urge you to download an enrolment application, complete the form and include the following documents:
- Birth Certificate (Not commemorative),
- Immunisation Certificate (obtained from MyGov) and
- Proof of residence (Rates notice or Tenancy agreement and Utility bill eg. electricity/water/gas)
- Drivers licence for both parents
- Medicare card
These documents along with the completed enrolment form are be emailed to enrolments@aspleyeastss.eq.edu.au.
Parents will be contacted by the school office once documentation has been received.
Out of catchment
Out
of catchment enrolments are those who do not live within the departmental
enrolment boundaries of Aspley East State School.
An "Out of Catchment – Expression of Interest" form can be accessed here.
Fill out the form and send back to the school via enrolments@aspleyeastss.eq.edu.au.
Expression of Interest's will commence being accepted (Wednesday, 14th May at 9:00am) coinciding with our Open Morning. Please see the Open days tab for more information. Any Expression of Interest's received prior will not be accepted.
We process Expression of Interests in the order they are received in accordance with our enrolment management plan.
